Momma came to visit!!

I finally got someone to visit me and it was my momma! lol This was her first time outside the country. I took her to some touristy spots in Seoul when she arrived. Below are pictures from her arrival and Insadong and Gyeongbokgu. 

This place was in Insadong. It's a tea shop called O'sulloc and it's delicious! If you have the time definitely check it out.

This is Gyeongbokgu! It's a palace in Seoul and it's walking distance from Insadong. She really enjoyed Gyeongbokgu. This is also a must see in Korea though I hear it's more beautiful in the spring/summer when all the flowers are blooming.

So after this we came to Daejeon! On Monday a Korean friend of mine invited us to her house for dinner. Her mom cooked some bulgogi and really delicious rice. Bulgogi is beef with a sauce and some vegetables. There was also a very yummy salad.

The next night I showed Momma one of my favorite places for shopping, Eunhangdong! We met two of my friends there and we showed her the underground shopping and the sky road.

Wednesday night we stayed in my area and I took her out to eat dalk ghalbi with some friends of mine. Dalk ghalbi is like a one pot chicken dish and it's one of my favorite foods in Korea. 

Thursday was her last night and we went back to eunhangdong. We ate at a place called BonBon. BonBon is really delicious . They have great pizza. The pizza has this light, flaky crust. Their pasta and salads are pretty good too. Sadly, I don't have any pictures from that night.

Friday morning I took my momma to the bus terminal. There's a bus there that takes you all the way to Incheon Airport. I had to work so I couldn't go all the way to the airport with her. Here are the last pics of my momma's visit to Korea! There's also a note she left me with her thoughts on her stay which I found after I got home from work.
